Medical Illustration is the discipline of simplicity. Showcasing the complexity of medical procedures with both clarity and flair is crucial to the role of Medical Illustrator.

Using simplified line illustrations one must communicate a depth of detail without sacrificing legibility and ease of understanding. Preparing informative, accurate illustrations for medical journals, professors and specialists, Medical Illustration presents the knowledge of experts in an accessible visual language.

Having completed a Bachelor of Digital Media at the College of Fine Arts UNSW, my work as part of the UNSW Medical Illustration Unit has encompassed a multitude of disciplines and procedures.

Providing illustrations of human anatomy, medical and surgical procedures, new techniques and equipment, my portfolio also encompasses the design and production of promotional materials and displays for scientific conferences. Furthermore, I have facilitated the production and design of patient care, laboratory, nursing procedures as well as general hospital signage and branding.

This webpage provides varied examples of my work as an illustrator and designer.
